Welcome to Cooma

Cooma is a major service town located to the east of the Snowy Mountains between Bega and Tumut.

The town itself features a bustling commercial centre and attractive parkland including Centennial Park where an avenue of international flags honours those immigrants who worked on the hydroelectric Snowy Mountains scheme.

Cooma is a handy base for exploring the attractions of the Snowy Mountains including the resort town of Jindabyne, located 45 minutes away and the region's snow fields and mountain villages.
