Welcome to Moruya

The small rural town of Moruya is situated on the Moruya River, 6 kilometres from the coast between Narooma and Batemans Bay.

Moruya is surrounded by rich agricultural land and the vast Deua National Park which is located in the mountain ranges just to the west of town.

The town centre is just a short walk from the many river side parks and reserves along the Moruya River.

A surf beach is located at Moruya Heads, east of town at the mouth of the Moruya River.

For those preferring to fly, Regional Express operates direct flights from Sydney to Moruya Airport five days a week. The airport is located just 5km from the town center. Upon arrival, visitors can rent a car or use taxi services to explore the region at their own pace.
