Welcome to Wagga Wagga
The regional city of Wagga Wagga is located within the Riverina agricultural region of New South Wales, north of Albury. It is the largest inland city in the state.
The Murrumbidgee River flows through Wagga Wagga and there are several parks along the river, including Cabarita Park with its sandy beach.
There's shopping galore at Wagga Wagga. Visit the Wagga Wagga Marketplace Shopping Centre, or browse the multitude of shops fronting the long thoroughfare of Baylis Street.
Just south of the town centre is Willans Hill Reserve where there are many walking tracks through the native bush and scenic lookouts.
Wagga Wagga is well served by transport. It lies at the junction of the Sturt and Olympic Highways and the express Melbourne to Sydney XPT rail service stops at the city's railway station.
